5/7/2023 0 Comments Bo Next Door by Duckie Mack![]() Like from the start, so getting to read his story here was an absolute delight. We met Ian in All the Stars and I loved him there. ![]() It tugs at the heartstrings just the right amount and shows a beautiful love story between two men who share a meet cute and an instant connection. I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.īo Next Door is the second book in the Love Bank series and is just as sweet as the first one. So I liked the book, I didn't love it but I'd still read more in the series if it was to continue. I think the star of the book was Bo's dog though, he completely stole it for me, but then I'm a sucker for dogs. I don't have any experience or real knowledge about trans people but I felt that part of the story was handled well. It's a sweet, low angst, low heat story of the two coming together. I liked this, I didn't love it and I don't really know why. I did like how Bo knew straight away that it was Ian under the Crow makeup. I did like how Bo and his sister met Ian/Crow at different times in his different personas without realising it was the same person. ![]() ![]() I remember with the first one I didn't feel all that connected to Rider and Cam and I still felt that way a little with Crow and Bodhi. ![]() I picked this up on the strength of the first book, and I remember being intrigued by Ian/Crow in that book so was looking forward to this one. ![]()
